FAIRFIELD-Ken Rosenfeld Discusses Autopsy Controversy

Two people were shot in Fairfield on Saturday. Only one of the two survived.

At around 10:30 p.m. the NorthBay Medical Center called the Fairfield Police Department regarding two gunshot victims from the same shooting checked into the hospital.

One victim was pronounced dead at the hospital and the other, a 15-year-old boy, was released after being treated for a gunshot wound in his shoulder.

The deceased victim was identified as a 27-year-old Fairfield resident.

Detectives are in an on-going homicide investigation, and there is no other available information at this time.
