MANTECA-

An 11-year-old and a 17-year-old were shot and another teen was arrested early Sunday, according to the Manteca Police Department.

Police arrived at a home on Glenn Drive, near Cottage Avenue and just north of Doctors Hospital, just before 1 a.m.

A boy who lives at the home, Corey Massa, told FOX40 the 17-year-old shooter was Zak Hurlburt.

Police found 11-year-old Hunter Davis, who had been shot in the head. He was taken to a nearby hospital with life threatening injuries. There was also Davis’ 17-year-old brother, Raymond, who had been shot, but was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

“I’m worried for (Hunter), I’m kind of scared I want to know if he’s O.K.,” Massa said.

Manteca Police say the shooting does not appear to be accidental.

Massa told FOX40 that some of the boys were drinking the night of the shooting.

Hurlburt was booked into juvenile hall on charges of attempted homicide and assault with a deadly weapon.
