WOODLAND-

A man crashed a stolen truck into a Woodland front yard after leading CHP officers on an erratic chase along I-5 Thursday morning.

The chase started in Williams around 5 a.m. and ended when the gray Chevy truck crashed on Palomar Street near West Street.

The suspect ran from the truck into a nearby area. Yolo County Sheriff’s deputies, Woodland Police, CHP and a West Sacramento K-9 unit all played a part in finding the suspect soon after. He was found in a tool shed about a block away on Casa de Linda Drive.

Officials said he was from Oregon and would be booked in Yolo County Jail. Officials have not released his name.
