Drivers are being warned to be safe in the Bay Area Sunday, after a 6.1 magnitude quake hit near American Canyon, in Napa County.

CHP is reporting “busted up” roads in Sonoma, and places where the asphalt has buckled and cracked in Napa.

Along the Old Sonoma Highway, SR 121, the roadway has cracked, and one side is elevated almost a full foot, according to CHP initial reports.

Drivers are reporting to CHP they are stranded, and unable to get around the damage.

Because of the massive power outages in Napa County, and upper Bay Area, many traffic signals are out.

Aftershocks could continue throughout the morning, already a 2.5 and 3.6 magnitude quakes have hit in Napa County following the initial 6.1.
