A 17-year-old girl died in this crash Tuesday morning.

SACRAMENTO-

A man is now under arrest in connection with an early morning crash that killed a teen girl.

Around 2 a.m., a car crashed into a flat-bed truck near Florin Road and 21st. A passenger in the car, a 17-year-old girl, died. The driver, identified as an adult man, and another passenger took off running after the crash.

The two were later located and taken to the hospital.

Investigators confirm the driver is under arrest facing various charges for driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter.
