A building that had retro-fitting done to help protect during an earthquake showed the biggest signs of damage in downtown Napa Sunday morning.

A 6.0 magnitude quake hit near Napa around 3:30 in the morning. Some of the older buildings in downtown Napa crumbled near 3rd and Main.

Onlookers were kept back by police tape, as the brick building’s roof teetered over the street.

Crews have been assessing from outside and inside buildings in downtown Napa to make sure they are structurally sound.
