Mexico City, MEXICO—

Mexico as a nation is in the midst of change. There is a large gap between the upper and lower class, and the previously planned economic change has not trickled down the way it was supposed to.

Governor Jerry Brown is in Mexico City to discuss finance, climate change, and immigration. FOX40’s Stefanie Cruz is also in Mexico City to report on the his meetings with Mexican officials, and will be reporting updates on each day of his visit.

The relationship between Mexico and California is quite complex, as Mexico is California’s largest export market. Governor Brown believes driving up trade will help out the state’s economy.

On Monday, Governor Brown will be meeting with officials to discuss climate change.
