WEST SACRAMENTO-
Bones and teeth were found Friday morning along the Sacramento River, and investigators believe the remains are human.
According to Yolo County Sheriff’s Captain Larry Cecchettini, “a few small bones and a couple of teeth” were found in the mud and could only be seen since the river’s level is so low.
Investigators say that since the teeth appear to be human, the bones are also likely human.
Sheriff’s Deputies will continue to investigate the area.
