SACRAMENTO-

Florence Brown adopted her son, Bobby Weh, nearly 20 years ago.

This week, Bobby was killed by the Ebola virus 3,000 miles away from Sacramento – in Monrovia, Liberia.

“Every time I think of it, I bust up into tears,” Brown said.

She says this week’s news of a patient in Sacramento being tested for possible Ebola exposure hits close to home.

And Brown isn’t alone. Several families who attend the Friends of Jesus International Church have lost relatives to the deadly virus this month.

“Yes, I’m afraid,” Pastor Tim Wullah said. “It’s human nature.”

Wullah says he wants to take action. He wants to fill rooms and extra storage units  with medical supplies to send to Liberia – particularly to those with ties to Sacramento.

If you would like to donate supplies, contact Pastor Tim Wullah at (916) 501-3618. The church will be holding a fundraiser Saturday.
