SONOMA-

Racing will go on as planned Sunday at the Sonoma Raceway; the track was not damaged in the 6.0 magnitude quake that hit early in the morning.

According to a release from the raceway, the track and its facilities “experienced no damage”. They had officials and emergency responders check out the course, stands, and facilities Sunday morning.

Sunday’s event starts at 1:40 p.m. Drivers are being warned to check for road closures and road conditions before making their way to the raceway.
